Trainspotters

Trainspotters were added to the game in Update 4.6.0, they will only appear every 60 minutes and are willing to wait for hours for the perfect train shot.

25 different train enthusiasts want to get your trains in front of their lenses. When collecting them, you will be rewarded with a small amount of in-game money. If you manage to complete a full album, there’s an even bigger bonus: Gold, engine vouchers, Lottery tickets, Plus account (only when current amount of plus account is smaller than 30 days) or even a Bonus train (only when you don't own it yet)!

Trainspotters have a ‘Bad Luck Protection’ since update 4.13: A trainspotter still missing in your collection will appear no later than after 20 already collected trainspotters. When a trainspotter becomes available on the map, at least the next 10 trainspotters that are being added can not be identical.

The money received from a train spotter is the base amount (see table above) multiplied with the player career level or the playerlevel prestige limit (whichever is the lowest).

Examples:

The player has career level 25 and has 46000 prestige in the gameworld. This means that the playerlevel prestige limit (which is level 20) is lower than the careerlevel (of 25).

• Collecting trainspotter 'BJHawk' will earn $400 x 20 = $8,000
• Collecting trainspotter 'Petr' will earn $50,000 x 20 = $1,000,000

The player has career level 15 and has 46000 prestige in the gameworld. This means that the careerlevel (15) is lower than the playerlevel prestige limit (which is level 20)

• Collecting trainspotter 'BJHawk' will earn $400 x 15 = $6,000
• Collecting trainspotter 'Petr' will earn $50,000 x 15 = $750,000

The maximum level multiplier is 34 because of the playerlevel prestige limit, even if the careerlevel is higher.

• Collecting trainspotter 'BJHawk' will earn $400 x 34 = $13,600
• Collecting trainspotter 'Petr' will earn $50,000 x 34 = $1,700,000
