The Morpheus is often the engine to aim for in era 3. It has a good speed, can haul a good load, and being a double slot engine means that the fleet is easier to manage if the Plus Account is not available. The Morpheus is named after the god of sleep and dreams. This comes principally from Ovid's Metamorphoses.

There are 3 variants of this engine available. The first is based on the NOHAB Series AA16 which is derived from the American F Series. The second is a white painted version of the first. The 3rd is an LTS Series M62.
