The Ajax is the first passenger train in era 3. Not quite as capable as the multi-slot Artemis. Ajax (the Great) was a hero in Greek mythology. He was the son of King Telamon and played a key role in the Trojan war in Homer's Iliad. Also known as Ajax the Great, to stop confusion with Ajax the lesser, son of Oileus.
